The Rescue

Phil couldn't see anything except darkness. He was gagged, and his limbs were tied with ropes. He could feel being moved somewhere in a vehicle, though. After a few minutes, he was made to walk up some stairs, and then move forward. Phil started counting his steps. It wasn't until the four hundred twelfth one that the people made him stop. They opened a door and led him inside. Then they made him sit down, where they untied his ropes and took out his gag.

Surprise!

The gravest time of the year had come. It was time to face the toughest enemy of them all, shopping. I reluctantly took my stuff, and along with my mom started our journey to doomland. We reached there in an hour, but it felt like an eternity. We went in and started looking at some clothes. One after the other, we went into different warzones. And after a loooooo… ooooot of time, the battle against shopping finally ended at the 12th shop. I sighed in relief. Whew! Then we both went to a restaurant to have food. I went to the washroom to wash my hands. And there was where the fun began. I found two very tall and strong-looking men whispering inside.

The Crazy Robot

Once there was a boy named Daksh. If there was one thing Daksh hated, it was shopping. But as luck would have it, but his mother just loved it. They often went for shopping at least once a week. Every time his mother said, “Daaa….kshhhh time to go for shopping, c’mon, lets go”, he’d start crying or throwing a tantrum or making lame excuses. His mother knew all this nakhra too well and would drag him along nonetheless.

One day, a bright idea struck the very scientific brain of Daksh as they returned home after visiting a mall where a rorbotics display had been set up.

The Frog, The Witch and ME

Like all other days, my mother woke me up at 6 o’clock on this seemingly uneventful, boring Monday morning and I started getting ready for school. At 6:30, I boarded the bus but didn’t sit down as I was waiting for my best friend to board the bus at the very next stop. I was thinking we will sit together and make our long journey to school (40 minutes) a pleasant one. I knew he was away for the weekend and I wanted to hear all about it.

The Madman’s Invention

Hello everyone!

Greetings from your unfriendly insensible madman from Unearth.

First things first, I neither understand nor follow the rules human beings have made for themselves. Why should everything be done in a certain way, why should things have only one name? why can’t they have multiple names? Who decides what is good and what is bad? Why should vegetables be called vegetables and not fruits or rocks? Why is this colour Blue? Why can’t we call it Eulb? Why must one work in the day and sleep at night? Why can’t we live in the forests and animals in homes? etc. etc. etc.
